Join local, award-winning wire artist Ryan Kelley for a wire tree art class at the Marblehead Arts Association on Thursday, Oct. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. Kelley will teach participants how to create a wire tree in any style on an adult, closed-fist-sized rock that attendees provide. This event is BYOB, and all tools and materials needed to create the wire tree sculpture will be provided, except the rock. Tickets are $65 for members and $75 for non-members.
Ryan Kelley, an artist and sculptor from Byfield, Massachusetts, creatively transforms wire, wood, metal, and stone into unique pieces of art. Kelley is an experienced creative, known for driving change in the artistic community with hundreds of creations and commissioned pieces to his name. His work can be seen in homes and businesses across the country and around the world. Over the years, his pieces have grown in scale and intricacy, much like his signature trees crafted from hundreds or even thousands of wires.
