Marblehead Dollars for Scholars announces advanced standing scholarship recipients

Last summer, 15 high school seniors received scholarships from local nonprofit Marblehead Dollars for Scholars, and in the fall, the organization awarded an additional 32 scholarships to advanced standing students, who are college sophomores, juniors, and seniors.

A total investment of $224,000 in scholarship funds was provided to 47 Marblehead students. The following students were awarded advanced standing scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year, and their named/endowed scholarship is listed in parentheses:

Maxwell Beauchesne (Dr. Eben Stoddard), Ila Bumagin (Old North Church), Emma Burbage (Patricia Kammes), Emma Cianchi (Jean Howe), Olivia Cook (Joel Saxe), Piper Crane (Helaine Hazlett), William Cunningham (Harold & Elizabeth Shattuck), Grace Cuzner (Robert Blood), Claire Davis (Mary Cook Gately), Anais Disla-Soto (Harold & Elizabeth Shattuck), Christopher English (Harold & Elizabeth Shattuck), Miles Flynn (Audrey Goldstein), Michael Gabaud (Douglas MacLean Go Giver), Laura Garcia Tiburcio (Harold & Elizabeth Shattuck), Alyssa Gentile (Harold & Elizabeth Shattuck), Isabelle Harvey (Harold & Elizabeth Shattuck), Lexie Hoffman (H.
