The 58th Marblehead Festival of Arts (MFoA) Performing Arts Committee is excited to announce our 2024 Concerts @ Crocker Park lineup bringing together more than 75 performers, sharing a wide variety of musical genres including jazz, salsa, Cajun/zydeco, reggae, folk, soul, R&B, and some good old rock ‘n roll.
“After the incredible 2023 Concerts @ Crocker Park series and the outpouring of love from the community, we can’t wait to present our 2024 lineup to make new memories in Marblehead’s beautiful outdoor performance venue,” Performing Arts Chair and Concerts @ Crocker Park Producer Brian Wheeler said. “Our goal is to bring families, friends, and the North Shore community together under the umbrella of music!”
The 2024 Concerts @ Crocker Park schedule kicks off Wednesday, July 3 at 6 p.m. with jazz from the Debby Larkin/Jeff Stout Quintet followed at 8 p.m. by the fun of Latin dance and reggae with Combo Sabroso.
On Thursday, July 4, our celebration kicks off at 11:30 a.m. with classic rockers Squall House, followed at 12:15 p.m. by the Marblehead School of Music and at 2 p.m. by indie alt rockers River Sang Wild. Our 4th of July Holiday Party starts at 6 p.m. with the pop/funk of The Far Out, followed by classic R&B, funk, and soul of the 10-piece Big Ol’ Dirty Bucket.
We’ll also feature our traditional singing of the national anthem by Christina Easthope and Spectacular Harbor Illumination with on stage Fireworks Countdown by 2024 Festival Logo Design winner Nicole Habin Lynch.
Friday, July 5 starts at noon with the jazz fusion of Obscure Notation, followed at 2 p.m. by hometown favorite and R&B of the Gus Percy Band. Friday night performances start at 6 p.m. with the indie folk rock of Blue Tomorrow, followed at 8 p.m. by reggae masters Soul Rebel Project.
Saturday, July 5 begins at noon with the performance team of students of the Wakefield School of Rock, followed at 2 p.m. by the classic rock and soul of the Christine Lucas Band. Evening performances begin at 6 p.m. with cool jazz and blues of the Jorgan Quartet, followed at 8 p.m. by the Cajun/zydeco of the Squeeze Box Stompers.
