The 8th grade at Epstein Hillel School visited New York City May 19-22. They visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, the 9/11 Museum and Memorial, the Tenement Museum, the Eldridge Street Synagogue and Museum, the “Top of the Rock” observatory at Rockefeller Center and Chelsea Market. They also walked the High Line to Hudson Yards, ate at Ellen’s Stardust Cafe and at Taboonia, did a Jewish food tour of the Lower East Side, experienced the RiseNY attraction and saw the Broadway show “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” (Tamar Skowronski)
