The Friends of Marblehead’s Abandoned Animals is hosting its annual fundraiser at The Landing Restaurant on March 25 from 6-9 p.m.
No tickets are needed, but reservations are recommended for anyone who plans to stay for the majority of the event. Booking reservations helps The Landing Restaurant ensure there is an adequate number of servers for the evening in its event room.
Attendees will be able to enjoy food and drink menu options and bid on silent auction items. There are typically about 10 items to bid on, ranging from Red Sox tickets to animal-oriented artwork.
Longtime volunteer Sue MacInnis said people are more than welcome to stop by, even just for a short while, for appetizers or a drink to show support – even if they aren’t able to attend for the full three hours.
According to MacInnis, 15% of all food, drink and gift certificate “purrrchases” will go directly to the Marblehead Animal Shelter to fund vet care as well as provide the animals with whatever litter or food supplies they need.
