To the editor:
To our valued members of the Chamber of Commerce and the Marblehead community:
Due to the changing nature of business at this time, we have, regrettably, found it necessary to eliminate the Chamber’s position of executive director.
We are saddened to say goodbye to Katherine Koch, who faithfully served in that role for four years. We would like to take this opportunity to send our best wishes and express our gratitude to Katherine.
Her tireless dedication to the town of Marblehead and its local businesses has supported many longstanding traditions, including the annual Christmas Walk, Taste of the Town, annual golf outing fundraiser, and sidewalk sales. Her efforts helped bring focus to Marblehead in partnership with the North Shore Chamber of Commerce.
Her personal connection to member businesses, sense of humor, outgoing personality and enthusiasm for the town she calls home will be greatly missed.
As Katherine moves on from the Chamber, she takes with her our sincere thanks and best wishes for her future endeavors.
Please join us for a farewell and thank-you celebration for Katherine at The Landing on Thursday, Sept. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
