The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce and Discover Marblehead will host their third annual Marblehead Spring Celebration on Saturday, May 13.

“What’s really fun about this event is that there’s a little something for everyone,” said Marblehead Chamber of Commerce Creative Director Katherine Koch. “Make a day of shopping and dining in Marblehead, check out the artisan market in the Lee Mansion Garden, learn how our local nonprofit organizations support the town at the showcase in the National Grand Bank parking lot or check out the Old Car Club at The Landing.”

The festive town-wide event will feature over 35 businesses and local artists. Customers can enjoy a day of music, performances, art, special cocktails by restaurants, kid-friendly crafts, spring snacks, and beverages, all in an effort to bring locals and tourists to town.

Discover Marblehead and Marblehead Museum will be hosting an artisan market with cocktails and beer, music, and lawn games in the Lee Mansion Garden, the Chamber will have a Touch-A-Truck event and nonprofit booths with fun kids activities in the parking lot of National Grand Bank, and the Marblehead Old Car Club will be at State Street Landing. Businesses all over town will host artists, authors, activities for kids, and more at their locations.

“This year, we’re excited to have added the Window Display Contest,” said Melissa Stacey, founder of Discover Marblehead.

For the first time, storefronts will be able to participate via a spring-themed window-decorating contest. Window displays will be judged based on the categories of most spring-like, most creative, most town-spirited, and town favorite. Residents can vote for town favorite from May 11-13. Participating businesses will have QR codes in their windows.
