The Marblehead Festival of Arts has officially opened its 59th annual Marblehead Festival of Arts Logo Contest.
According to the festival’s website, the group “invites professional and nonprofessional individuals who currently reside, work, attend school, or belong to an arts association in Essex County to submit entries for the 2025 Logo Contest.”
The contest has been around as long as the event itself, and every year, they use a unique logo created by the winner.
According to its website, judges must select 15 to 20 designs to advance to the semi-finals. From there, several finalists are chosen, and their designs are presented to the public.
The winner’s logo is on shirts, hats, wine glasses, and other items that can be purchased at the Festival’s Logo Store.
“During the July 4th weekend Festival…the semifinalists and finalist designs are on display at the Logo Exhibit,” the website reads.
Up to three submissions per person can be made to www.marbleheadfestival.org/logo-contest; the deadline is Dec. 1, at 5 p.m.
Logo requirements and other information can also be found on the aforementioned website, and there is a $10 fee for all submissions.
