Earlier this month, Marblehead High alumna Lauren Donovan, a junior on the Stonehill College softball team, threw the program’s first no-hitter since 2016 in a 1-0 win against the University of Evansville. It was Donovan’s (109 pitches, 5 Ks) first career win, shutout, and complete game. She allowed just four baserunners all game on three walks and an error. (Steven Conte)
