The North Shore Children’s Theater is beginning to prepare for its next show, Cinderella, with auditions coming up.
The Theater’s most recent production was Seussical Jr., with shows this past weekend from Friday through Sunday. Children ages 5-13 practiced for weeks to present to friends and family, and more kids will be looking to do the same for the next production.
Cinderella auditions will be held for children ages 5-13 on Dec. 3 and 5 from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. All auditions will be at the North Shore Children’s Theater at 18 Prospect St. in Marblehead.
All of those looking to audition should arrive with a short song prepared.
Alongside the Theater’s unwavering support for children looking to explore, create, and inspire in the world of theater, they have also been offering childcare for those who need help while schools are closed.
Due to the ongoing teachers’ strike in Marblehead, schools have been closed for a total of ten days leaving parents to scramble for childcare. The Theater has taken it upon itself to support parents with young children.
