Tuesday, July 1

911 Calls

At 4:37 p.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up on Tedesco Street, investigating the call to confirm there was no emergency before clearing the scene. An out-of-town 911 call was also taken and referred to Salem authorities at 8:48 p.m.

Alarms

Police responded to multiple burglar alarms throughout the day. At 3:52 a.m., officers checked a property on Washington Street after an alarm was activated, determining it was a false alarm. At 4:33 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm on School Street, confirming it was false after checking the property. At 5:49 a.m., an alarm on Tedesco Street was investigated and determined to be a false alarm. Later in the evening, at 4:55 p.m., officers responded to an alarm on Humphrey Street that was found to be founded, and appropriate actions were taken. At 5:28 p.m., an alarm on Widger Road was investigated and determined to require no further action.

Area Checks

Throughout the day and evening, officers conducted proactive area and property checks on Atlantic Avenue, Community Road, Pleasant Street, and other locations across town to maintain safety and deter suspicious activity. All properties checked were found secure, and the checks were documented for accountability.

At 9:45 a.m., officers assisted a resident on Beacon Street, and at 1:19 p.m., officers assisted another resident on Gallison Avenue, ensuring concerns were addressed and documented. At 4:08 p.m., officers provided assistance on Powder House Court, and later at 5:01 p.m., officers assisted a resident on Hooper Street.

Complaints
