Two of the top football teams in the Northeastern Conference squared off at SSG Christopher N. Piper Field Friday night, with the Marblehead Magicians getting the best of the Masconomet Chieftains in a 21-7 final. After a strong 2022, this fall season is far from ideal for the Marblehead football team, which now stands at 1-4. That said, the Magicians turned a corner this past Friday in a 20-0 road victory against Masconomet (1-3).
