Yoga mobility for upper back, shoulders, and neck

Our lifestyle is such that we spend much of our time hunched forward over any number of things: phone, computer, desk, countertop, steering wheel, etc. We simply don’t spend enough time in a healthy, upright posture. This can lead to chronic imbalances in the upper back, shoulders, and neck. This workshop at The Yoga Loft will focus on the postures and movements that work toward relieving this kind of imbalance and the pain or discomfort it may be causing.

Shingle-style homes bus tour

Join HisTOURy as it explores the coastal towns of Marblehead and Swampscott to see and learn about one of New England’s iconic architectural styles and the people that called these houses home! The shingle style is quintessential to the Bay State’s shoreline, having been popular for the beach retreats of Boston’s turn-of-the-century well-to-do. With weathered wood shingles, cool verandas, and a casual approach to form, these homes still evoke those fashionable and relaxed summers. From the comfort of a charter bus, we will see and discuss around 25 of these homes, with several unique interior stops! The bus will depart from the Marblehead – exact location details will be posted on its website soon. This is a one-time-only tour.
