Pearl & Leather Jewelry
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Discover the versatile barrel knotting technique to create beautifully rustic leather and bead jewelry! In this class, you’ll learn how to tie secure, stylish knots to design a leather and bead necklace, bracelet, and/or earrings, depending on time. Perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike, this technique adds a handcrafted touch to any jewelry piece. Thursday 4/17/25, 4–6 p.m. at Eos Designs Studio. $26 + materials.

A Quest for Freedom (SOLD OUT)
7 p.m.
The Marblehead Museum will host Tammy Denease, director of the Hidden Women Stage Company. Denease will portray Mumbet, an enslaved woman in Massachusetts who successfully sued for her freedom in 1781. After winning her freedom, she chose the name Elizabeth Freeman and continued to courageously speak what was in her heart, and stand up for those who could not stand for themselves. This program is free and sponsored by Mass Humanities.

Friday, April 18

Meditations on the Passion
8 p.m.
On Good Friday, the Church of St. Andrew will present Meditations on the Passion, a powerful musical reflection that invites listeners to experience the Passion of Christ through a fresh and deeply human lens. This moving performance blends traditional themes with contemporary insights and draws audiences from across New England. Friday 4/18/25, 8 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 135 Lafayette Street, Marblehead. Suggested donation $10.

Henley Douglas Jr with the Jorgan Trio

Head out to The Beacon for live music with Henley Douglas Jr and the Jorgan Trio on Friday night. Friday 4/18/25, 9 p.m. to close at The Beacon.

Saturday, April 19

Twisted Bead Jewelry
10 a.m. – Noon
Learn the art of wire twisting to create stunning, one-of-a-kind bracelets and earrings! In this class at Eos Designs Studio, you’ll discover how to shape, twist, and wrap wire to form intricate designs, adding beads and findings. Ideal for beginners and experienced crafters alike. $26 + materials.

Movie & Egg Painting

Celebrate Easter at The Beacon!

  • 10 a.m.: Movie “Here Comes Peter Cottontail” and 11:15 a.m. egg painting in the Lobster Room.

Twisting Road Artists Opening Reception

Variations Opening Ceremony
2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Join the Marblehead Arts Association for the opening reception of Variations 2025, its annual national exhibit featuring artists from across the country. An award ceremony will take place during the event. Sunday 4/20/25, 2–5 p.m. at the Marblehead Arts Association.

Monday, April 21

Stackable Stretch Bracelets for Kids
10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Simple and stylish — kids can make a stack of bracelets or prep some holiday gifts. This beginner-friendly class includes materials and each child will leave with two bracelets. Monday 4/21/25, 10–11:30 a.m. at Eos Designs Studio. $26 (includes materials).

Meditation Monday
7 p.m. – 8 p.m.
