Marblehead High School METCO 2025 Culture Feast
5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Marblehead High School Cafeteria. Enjoy food, dancing and performances. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students and free for children under 5. All proceeds benefit the Tyrone Bumpers Scholarship. This student-led event celebrates the collaborative benefits of METCO to both Boston and Marblehead residents. Previous events have included food trucks, live music, dance performances and poetry readings.
Cod & Whale First Look Party
5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Abbot Hall, 188 Washington St., Marblehead. See the newly created Festival Cods and Whales, each designed by a local artist, which are auctioned off to lucky bidders. Enjoy a first look at the 2025 collection before they take their places in shop windows across town. A cash bar with wine and beer will be available. RSVP recommended; space is limited.

The 2025 season of the Marblehead Farmers’ Market kicks off. The market will run every Saturday through Nov. 22.
Wire Wrapped Rings Workshop
10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Eos Designs Studio. Discover the art of wire-wrapped jewelry in this hands-on class. Learn to weave, wrap and bind wire with beads to create one-of-a-kind rings. This class will guide you through 3-4 unique ring designs, depending on time. $38 plus materials. Open to teens and adults. No experience necessary.

Drop-In Life & Portrait Drawing Sessions

Marblehead Arts Association. Hone your drawing skills and meet new friends while the model poses for you to capture on paper. Artists using media other than pencil should bring a drop cloth. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Admission: $15 for members, $20 for nonmembers.

King Hooper Mansion Ballroom. Illustrated talk by social historian Judy Anderson on the Loyalist–Patriot divide in Marblehead during 1775, who the Loyalists were and what happened to them. No RSVP required. Free, with donations accepted.
Making Mala Beads of Intention

Join a mindful and creative journey in this Mala-making workshop. Learn the traditional method of knotting a 108-bead Mala, creating a tassel and understanding the significance of the Guru bead. Choose from five thoughtfully curated Mala kits, each featuring gemstones selected for their energy properties.
