INTERVIEWED: Donna Oliviero, owner of Caffe Italia Marblehead.
LISTENING: I love listening to smooth jazz outside gardening. It’s my relaxing music. Chris Botti, Norah Jones, so soothing. In general, I like instrumental pieces. I also love the older music, my mother did too: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Michael Bublé. Also, for fun country music: Toby Keith, who recently passed, I saw him 13 times. And Blake Shelton. Mostly I listen outside, in my car or at home.
WATCHING: I’m really not a TV person… I find other things to do, but I’m forever watching cooking shows, expanding my knowledge. “Bobby Flay” – always watching it – or “Chopped.”
READING: I used to read but I don’t have time to read, sad but true.
SOMETHING PEOPLE MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CAREER: I used to run the flower concession stands at Logan Airport. I pushed the cart from terminal to terminal. I enjoyed doing that and met a lot of celebrities. And there are a lot of romantic people out there.
WHAT YOU ENJOY ABOUT MARBLEHEAD: Oh my gosh, there are so many things. First and foremost, I enjoy meeting the people here. I’ve met so many, restaurant people, town people and friends. Everything is here in this town.
