“The Summer’s Evening” with the Gus Percy Band is scheduled for Saturday at the Marblehead VFW at 321 West Shore Drive.
The event will run from 7 to 11:30 p.m. All ages are welcome as long as minors are accompanied by parents, and they will be provided wristbands at the door.
“The VFW is proud to have worked with Todd (Norman) in our Marblehead community on many fronts. Todd was larger than life and a true leader,” VFW Post 2005 Cmdr. Ronny Knight said. “We are honored to host this event in Todd’s memory and to benefit the scholarship fund to preserve Todd’s legacy as an inspirer of extraordinary student-athletes in Marblehead.”
Cash donations will be accepted at the door for the benefit of the Todd Norman Memorial Scholarship Fund. the information required to make a tax-exempt 501c3 donation is listed below.

This is a new initiative at Post 2005 under Ronny Knight’s leadership.
“Through the Post 2005 charitable fund, we are able to direct contributions within our community. Those who support these initiatives through family foundations, donor-advised funds, and trusts will find this avenue very attractive to deploy sizeable donations in support of our events,” the release reads.
