The Marblehead Museum will host a talk on the Women’s Suffrage Movement on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. Barbara Benson, author of “Massachusetts in the Women’s Suffrage Movement,” will reveal the compelling story of women who fought for the right to vote, including new research on Marblehead’s suffragists.
The museum will display a banner made by the Marblehead Equal Suffrage League in 1887 that is rarely seen by the public. Tickets are $10 for museum members and $15 for the public and can be purchased on the museum’s website or by calling 781-631-1768.
