FRIDAY
The Grunch
Marblehead Little Theater will present a screening of “The Grunch” at 5:30 p.m. Inspired by “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,” the story follows Rudy Grunch, a grumpy sixth grader who always feels like an outsider and his school musical. Tickets are $12.
SATURDAY
Guy Ford Band
The Guy Ford Band will play and belt out classic tunes and dance music at The Beacon Restaurant at 8:30 p.m. at 123 Pleasant St.
SUNDAY
Learn to Paint Poppies: Fluid Art Paint & Sip
Shipyard Art will host this fun workshop from 3 to 5 p.m. Participants will create their own masterpieces using the “puddle pour and straw” technique.
Learn How to Save Energy, Save Money, and Help to Protect the Planet This Winter
Sustainable Marblehead and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Marblehead will host a Meetinghouse Series program at 3 p.m. The free event will present ways to save energy and reduce residents’ home energy costs and will take place at 28 Mugford St. and on Zoom.
MONDAY
Conversations on Race: What Does it Mean to be an Ally?
The Marblehead Museum will host a conversation on race from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at 170 Washington St. In this session, participants can better understand what it means to be an ally for persons of color. Using case scenarios, we will highlight situations where residents can use their privilege to change outcomes and help amplify historically suppressed voices.
TUESDAY
Adult Crafternoon Seasonal Centerpiece Event
Abbot Public Library will host an adult Crafternoon event to share how to build and decorate a festive flower box as a seasonal centerpiece with materials provided by the library. The event will take place at 1 p.m. at the library’s interim space at the Eveleth School.
WEDNESDAY
B.A. Shapiro, Metropolis
The Jewish Community Center will host B.A. Shapiro for a conversation at 7 p.m. Shapiro is the author of the psychological suspense novel “The Art Forger,” which introduces a cast of intriguing characters. The event will include a book signing and a light reception.
THURSDAY
Ribbon Cutting for Blue Lobster Company
The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the Blue Lobster Company to the Chamber from 5 to 6 p.m. The ribbon-cutting photo will take place at 5:30 p.m. Attendees can sip and shop throughout the event at Blue Lobster Company, located at 67A Front St.
Ladies’ Night Out at All Chic at 152
All Chic at 152 will host a ladies’ night out from 5 to 8 p.m. at 152 Washington St. Attendees will sip, shop, and save. All Chic at 152 will distribute prizes and goodie bags at the event.
