Thursday, Nov. 20

Rentrayage Pop-Up

11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Rentrayage, the sustainable home and fashion brand founded by designer Erin Beatty, has a pop-up store in Marblehead at The Willie Shaker Gallery, 70 Washington St., Marblehead. Rentrayage—a French term for “mending”—reimagines what already exists, transforming vintage garments, antique textiles, and deadstock materials into modern pieces of enduring beauty. The Marblehead space will feature ready-to-wear fashion, home goods, and accessories, each made with a deep respect for craftsmanship and sustainability. (Nov. 20-23)

Fall Candle Workshop (SOLD OUT)

4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Join Abbot Public Library for a cozy, fun fall craft! You will be making some yummy fall-scented candles with soy wax and essential oils. Adults and teens are welcome! Space is limited, and registration is required.

Ladies Night

5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Join All Chic at 152 on Thursday, Nov. 20 for Ladies Night! Sip, Shop and Save $$$$. Special guest Pop up’s will be there that evening, so stay Tuned! Don’t miss this one! Location: 152 Washington St., Marblehead.

Jazz at the Arts: Cassandre McKinley

7 p.m.

The Marblehead Arts Association and Gene Arnould present a very special performance by Cassandre McKinley as a part of our Jazz at the Arts concert series. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Cash bar. Tickets: $35. Tickets online or in advance at the Marblehead Arts Association or at Arnould Gallery in Marblehead.

The Devereux Neighborhood: A History

7 p.m.

John Clemson, a historic preservation consultant, will share new research on the Devereux neighborhood at the Marblehead Museum. Clemson will show how the neighborhood evolved from an agricultural center to a residential neighborhood served by railroad and streetcar from 1870-1940, using historic maps and images. Hosted by the Marblehead Museum.

Fall Sound Bath

7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Unwind in the cozy embrace of autumn with sounds that ground and restore. Join Daphne for a restorative sound bath at The Yoga Loft, where you’ll be immersed in the soothing vibrations of crystal and metal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and ocean drums. Let the sounds of these ancient instruments transport you – melting tension, restoring balance, and reconnecting you to your inner peace. It’s the perfect way to reset your energy and settle into the season.

Cabaret Showcase

7 p.m.

Join Marblehead High School Drama Club for their first event of the year! Their cabaret showcase will take place on November 20 at 7 p.m. at the MHS auditorium.

Friday, Nov. 21

Harbor Holidays

6 p.m. – 9 p.m.

SHOP LOCAL this season! HARBOR HOLIDAYS – always free and open to the public both days. Friday night features a cash bar – enjoy sipping your favorite beverage while you shop. On Saturday, soak up sunny harbor views and enjoy more shopping with the cash bar open from 12-4.

Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas

8 p.m.

Me&Thee Music is so excited about welcoming back two of the absolute finest traditional Scottish performers in the world to the Me&Thee stage for the first time in almost a decade. The musical partnership between consummate performer Alasdair Fraser, “the Michael Jordan of Scottish fiddling,” and brilliant Californian cellist Natalie Haas spans the full spectrum between intimate chamber music and ecstatic dance energy. Music starts at 8 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 22

Marblehead Farmers’ Market

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Last Marblehead Farmers’ Market of the season is Saturday, November 22 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Location: Veterans Middle School.

Mimosas & Merriment

10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Award-winning event florist, Meghan Perlow, owner of MJP Floral, will share expert tricks of the trade as students design and construct their own merry masterpiece while sipping a mimosa in this Saturday morning workshop at the Marblehead Arts Association. After crafting wreaths, the class will move on to a guided garland installation tutorial and, working as a team, will create a show-stopping work of art in the historic Hooper Mansion. All necessary wreath materials, tools, and seasonal decor will be provided, and students are welcome to bring their own unique accents. Location: Marblehead Arts Association.

Harbor Holidays

10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 24

Writers & Readers Open Mic

7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

On Monday, Nov. 24, Abbot Public Library continues its Open Mic series, inviting the community to share their writings. Whether you’re a seasoned writer or just starting out, this is a chance to connect with your community. You can prepare a short story or a nonfiction prose piece. At each gathering, we’ll welcome a featured reader, after which the mic will be open to the first 10 people who sign up. Readers are asked to keep readings to five minutes or less. Judith Nies of Marblehead will lead off the November session. Light refreshments will be served following the readings.

Wednesday, Nov. 26

Thanksgiving Eve Bash with The Baldones

8 p.m.

Join The Beacon the night before Thanksgiving for their annual Thanksgiving Eve Bash with The Baldones. $10 cover (no cover with dinner reservations). Music starts at 8 p.m.
