Marblehead cub scouts are welcoming boys and girls in kindergarten through the fifth grade to join cub scouts. Join cub scouting in person at Clifton Lutheran Church parking lot (150 Humphrey St.) on Aug. 30 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., when you will be able to speak to pack leadership, receive information about scouting, and meet scouts and, perhaps, meet some of your friends that are also signing up for cub scouts. Alternatively, if Aug. 30 doesn’t work for you contact: www.Pack79marblehead.org or www.mhdscouting.org. Also note that one may join at any time throughout the year by coming to a pack meeting with a friend or through the internet. An excellent time to join is August
through the end of September. Cub Scouting is a year long family program with great events like the Pine Wood Derby, Blue and Gold Banquet, and entertaining pack meetings and den meetings. As a cub scout enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, make many new friends, and
have fun. Cub Scouting in Marblehead is sponsored by Clifton Lutheran Church and by St. Stephen’s United Methodist Church, where most pack meetings and many den meetings are held.
