Bruce Rogers, a custom jeweler, is stepping away from his passion after more than 40 years of fine craftsmanship at 51 Atlantic Ave. Rogers is now preparing for retirement after a rare health condition has resulted in a loss of vision and made him unable to pursue his passion at the high standard he is used to.
Rogers got his start as a jeweler in Cambridge more than 50 years ago, and he moved to Marblehead with his wife, Sharyn, in the 1970s.
Bruce Rogers Jewelry is having a huge sale in celebration as its namesake owner finishes his days at the location. The “Friends, Family, & Neighbors” sale marks the end of an era by offering 50% off of every item in the store. Rogers encourages his fellow residents to stop by and acquire a new piece for half the price while they still have the chance.
Bruce Rogers Jewelry’s temporary walk-in hours of operation are Tuesday to Saturday, 2 p.m.- 5 p.m. Appointments can still be scheduled at 781-631-8399.
