Abbot Public Library Calendar Aug. 22 – 28

Make-It, Take-It Craft Killam Children’s Room (101) All ages of children are invited to come weekly to assemble and decorate a craft to take home. All materials are supplied by the library.
Supplies are donated by Marblehead residents.

Evening Chess Instruction with Flynn MacCallum Killam Children’s Room

Wednesday, Aug. 28, 10:30 – 11 a.m.

Story Time A-Go-Go Event Center
Children are invited to our weekly Wednesday program with stories and movement led by early childhood educator Debbie Leibowitz. Story Time A-Go-Go

is for kids ages 1-4 years old in the Events Center.
This program is sponsored by the Oliver P. Killam, Jr. Fund.

Thursday, August 29, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Adult Nonfiction Book Group Event Center (105)
Join the monthly Nonfiction Book Group to read and discuss the latest and greatest in nonfiction! Adult Services Librarian Wesley Sueker facilitates with prompts and fun author facts to get
the discussion rolling. Attend to discuss our last pick, The Revolutionary Samuel Adams by Stacy Schiff, or just come by to listen and help pick next month’s book.
Registration is required and limited to 15 attendants. Please register to attend at abbotlibrary.org/events.
