Kids Craft Afternoon

3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Children of any age and caregivers can visit the Children’s Room between 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. to make a craft to take home. Working freely with seasonal themed crafts enhances pre-literacy in children with practice in sequencing steps, hand-eye coordination, etc. No registration is required. Location: Killam Children’s Room (101), Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant St., Marblehead.

Friday, Aug. 29

Coffee at the Library

9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Stop in to Abbot Public Library on Friday mornings to relax with a cup of coffee or tea. Find your next great read, chat with your neighbors, or just enjoy a quiet morning. Locally brewed Atomic Coffee from Marblehead’s Blue Canoe Cafe will be provided, as well as coffee fixings and a selection of tea. Bringing your own mug is encouraged! No registration, no cost – simply stop on by. Location: Scully Salon, Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant St., Marblehead.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

Teen DIY: Grab and Go Craft Kits

12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Stop by the Teen Center to pick up a kit which includes activities and materials for paper-based crafts you can make on the go. Instructions are included, and materials will be available while supplies last! Location: Killam Teen Center (104), Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant St., Marblehead.

Tuesday, Sept. 2

Drop-in Tech Help with All Computers Great and Small

3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Bring your devices to the library for personal, one-on-one tech help with Theresa Milewski. All tech and computer questions are welcome, from troubleshooting to operation tips to general tech advice. Join us in welcoming Milewski to the library to host weekly drop-in tech help every Tuesday from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Theresa Milewski, your Marblehead computer tutor, helps people of all ages navigate their devices. Owner of All Computers Great and Small, Milewski is a patient computer tutor with 30+ years of experience with tech. Location: Marblehead Room (304), Abbot Public Library, 235 Pleasant St., Marblehead.

If your task requires this, please be prepared to enter this information into your device or website yourself. If you’ll need help that requires login, please know or bring your passwords with you. If you don’t have your passwords, tech helpers can help reset them.
