Stop in to Abbot Public Library on Friday mornings to relax with a cup of coffee or tea. Find your next great read, chat with your neighbors, or just enjoy a quiet morning. Locally brewed Atomic Coffee from Marblehead’s Blue Canoe Cafe will be provided, as well as coffee fixings and a selection of tea. Bringing your own mug is encouraged! Rise and Shine Playgroup

Rise and Shine is a mixed-age program perfect for families with children of different ages. This morning gathering brings kids together for a lively mix of activities that focus on various developmental stages. From energizing games and creative crafts, to group storytelling and interactive play, Rise and Shine offers a fun, inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and bond. It’s the perfect way to kick off the day with smiles, laughter, and shared experiences that brighten everyone’s morning. Online registration is required. Drop-in Tech Help with All Computers Great and Small

Bring your devices to the library for personal, one-on-one tech help with Theresa Milewski. All tech and computer questions are welcome, from troubleshooting to operation tips to general tech advice. Join us in welcoming Milewski to the library to host weekly drop-in tech help every Tuesday from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Theresa Milewski, your Marblehead computer tutor, helps people of all ages navigate their devices. Owner of All Computers Great and Small, Milewski is a patient computer tutor with 30+ years of experience with tech. Please take a moment to review our Tech Help Guidelines. For your safety, tech helpers cannot input passwords, credit card or financial information, or private identifying info such as social security numbers. If your task requires this, please be prepared to enter this information into your device or website yourself. If you’ll need help that requires login, please know or bring your passwords with you. Story Time A-Go-Go

Children are invited to our weekly Wednesday program with stories and movement led by early childhood educator Debbie Leibowitz. Story Time A-Go-Go is a lively, interactive program for kids ages 1-4 years old held in the Event Center, or outside in the Courtyard depending on the weather. Online registration is required. Teen Building Challenge: Lego Marble Run

Do you love engineering and building things that have a purpose? Come by the Thompson Makerspace and design a marble run using Legos! Choose a specific building challenge or see what you can create on your own. For middle school and high school students, event space is limited and registration is required.
