Doctor pleads guilty to indecent acts

Resident Chiropractor Dr. Ilan Amar pled guilty in Essex County Superior Court to two counts of indecent assault and battery and three counts of open and gross lewdness. Dr. Amar has been sentenced to two and a half years in the House of Correction. He is slated to serve two years, with the remaining six months placed on probation.
