The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce has a lot planned for the remaining months of 2023. Its event lineup is headlined by the Educational Workshop Series, which will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
The roster of guest speakers consists of professionals from the more than 300 businesses the chamber is affiliated with. This year’s inaugural workshop is titled “Business Insurance and Liability Coverage,” and will welcome David Bruett of David Bruett Insurance Services. Bruett is a certified insurance representative who spent 15 years as an account executive with the John J. Walsh Insurance Agency in Salem. He opened his namesake firm in 2018.
In addition to “Business Insurance and Liability Coverage,” the series will include five more speaker events that will be spread throughout the fall and into January.
All six workshops will take place at the chamber’s headquarters on 62 Pleasant St. Tickets are priced at $10, while chamber members are able to attend free of charge. Residents can register for the workshops by calling the chamber at 781-631-2868, emailing Executive Director Katherine Koch at katherine@marbleheadchamber.org, or through the chamber’s website.
“Fraud, Schemes, and Statistics” with Eastern Bank’s Aileen Sheehan will follow up Bruett on Sept. 20.
