The latest class of the citizens police academy, a collaboration between the police department and the council on aging, officially graduated last Friday.
“Another great class has graduated the Marblehead citizen police academy,” Marblehead police wrote on Facebook. “A partnership with the Council on Aging that exemplifies what makes this town special, true civic engagement.”
The course ran for eight weeks, and the class met each week on Fridays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
“Thanks to all the officers and agencies who presented, the COA staff, and the residents for your thoughtful participation,” police added.
