Marblehead dog owners have until the end of this month to make sure their furry friends are licensed.
Residents can register their pups by mailing the town clerk’s office a copy of the license application, or the form they received in the mail to renew their licenses along with a check payable to the Town of Marblehead, and copies of rabies and neuter certificates if they are not already on file with the clerk’s office.
Forms and applications can also be dropped off at the red box outside of Abbot Hall, according to a notice posted to the town’s website.
Licenses can also be obtained via an online form available via a QR code on the license application and at https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/selection.
Those who don’t license their dogs will face a $50 monthly fine beginning on Feb. 1. Residents who no longer have dogs should notify the town clerk’s office.
Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the Town Clerk’s Office by email at townclerk@marblehead.org or by phone at 781-631-0528.
