The Marblehead Dollars for Scholars application deadline for high school seniors is April 18 at 11:59 p.m. Students who demonstrate financial need based on the student aid index (SAI) on their FAFSA are encouraged to apply for a scholarship by visiting marblehead.dollarsforscholars.org and creating an online profile.
Instructions for completing the application are available on the Students and Parents tab on the website. Applicants must provide a copy of the financial aid letter from the college they plan to attend, cost of college information (tuition, room and board, and mandatory fees), a copy of the FAFSA that shows their SAI, most recent academic transcript, and a brief essay.

Marblehead Dollars for Scholars is also hosting a Charity Night Dinner at The Landing on April 15 from 6-9 p.m. The waterfront restaurant will donate a percentage of all food and drink purchases that evening to the local nonprofit organization that, since 1987, has provided financial need-based scholarships to Marblehead students pursuing a college education.
The festivities will also include a raffle for a Shubie’s gift basket and a silent auction with great prizes, such as a round of golf at Tedesco Country Club, Red Sox tickets, and a flag from the Masters Golf Tournament. Call The Landing at 781-639-1266 to make your reservation.
