With a decline in youth participation and family attendance at Christian congregations, four local churches are working together to create a youth group/ministry, led by a full-time youth minister.
Clifton Lutheran Church, Old North Church (United Church of Christ), St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, and St. Michael’s Episcopal Church “have committed both financially and strategically to a collective approach,” to overcome the challenges of keeping a long-term youth leader that can maintain youth interest and involvement in the church.
The youth leader will head the program and “foster robust connections with families, children, and young adults.”
Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis with hopes of the position being filled by August. To apply, visit https://www.diomass.org/jobs/four-local-parishes-marblehead/youth-ministerdirector.
