Grab the Bagel, a nonprofit bagel shop started by David Aldrich, has now gone mobile.
Aldrich introduced the brand-new grab and go Bagel Bus last weekend. The bus will be parked on the hill of the Jewish Community Center and operate on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or until the bus sells out.
“Marblehead spoke, we listened!” Aldrich said. “You asked for a retail grab and go, we delivered!
The bus will be offering various cream-cheese spreads including scallion, plain, and smoked sockeye cream cheese. In addition, complimentary hot apple cider will be provided.
Aldrich also noted that he will be running a special as a part of his ‘Random Acts of Bagelness’ campaign this weekend. The first ten customers to mention Marblehead Weekly News on Saturday will receive a bagel vacuum tower. Aldrich also said that “a fun surprise will follow on Sunday.”
“Many thanks to the JCC for making the Bagel Bus possible,” Aldrich said.
Grab the Bagel also has a permanent setup inside of the JCC.
