I read with interest energy opinion articles printed in the Weekly News and written by Richard Smith, Dec. 22, and Judith Black, Dec. 29. The differences in approach to fossil fuels as a national priority haven’t been more obvious than the last few years.
Also in the Dec. 29 issue is the message from the town’s electric department. We are entering a “rolling black out” era with practice town drills ahead. Hello California. Can this really be the state of our country in 2023?
Also in the national news last week was the first break through in fusion energy. A long way away from commercial development, but don’t discount American ingenuity.
So which approach do you think is the real clear and present danger?
