On Saturday, April 8 at 7 p.m., Rockin 4 Vets will be holding another event in its Home grown Rock concert series at the Gerry, located at 210 Beacon St., featuring the James Montgomery Band.

Rockin 4 Vets is a New England-based nonprofit that organizes concerts to support veterans. Formerly V is for Veterans, the organization was founded in 2015 and is focused on suicide prevention in veterans as well as helping them deal with issues such as addiction and PTSD.

In addition to the James Montgomery Band, special guest Wilmot Redd featuring Gus Percy will also be playing.

Montgomery was also the front man for the Johnny Winter Band.

Tickets can be purchased at the Three Cod Tavern, located at 141 Pleasant St. or online at home-grown-rock-vets-2023.eventbrite.com. VIP tickets can be bought before the event which include: Pre-show wine and cheese Meet & Greet with the band, a photo opportunity with James Montgomery, a free live JMB CD, an autographed event poster, and reserved front row seating. Ticket prices for the event range from $41.86 to $79.
