Linda Margot Brown, who finds that making art allows her to “experience and express beauty, joy, and pain,” is April’s featured artist at the Stetson Gallery in Marblehead’s Unitarian Universalist Church.
Brown works in various media, including painting, pastels, collage, quilt-making, and printing. She has also been a puppeteer for the last 10 years. Some of her illustrations for her children’s book about a band of animal friends will be on display at 28 Mugford St.
She studied art at the University of Wisconsin, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and the Concord Art Association, and she has taken workshops at Snow Farm School of Arts & Crafts.
