The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce announced “a strategic restructuring aimed at delivering increased value to its members and deepening its impact in the Marblehead business community,” in a statement.
The Chamber’s statement read that the organization is planning to “evolve its operations to become leaner, more focused, and member-driven.”
This message comes after Executive Director Katherine Koch was let go from her role.
The statement continued, “By reallocating resources from traditional administrative overhead to targeted outreach, digital promotion, and partnership-building, The Chamber is recommitting itself to its core purpose: promoting Marblehead businesses and supporting local economic vitality.”
The statement noted that this new approach will include a stronger emphasis on direct member engagement, social media visibility, and community-connected programming.
It stated that this approach will help ensure the Chamber’s efforts “translate directly into benefits for local businesses.”
“Our focus is clear,” said the Marblehead Chamber Board. “We’re here to support, spotlight, and advocate for Marblehead businesses — every day.”
In the statement, the Chamber invited local businesses and community members to “stay tuned for new programs, enhanced member features, and upcoming opportunities to get involved.”
