On Saturday, Sept. 14, the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce will host another Town Wide Sidewalk Sales event, a tradition that has been ongoing in town since 2010.
“The Town Wide Sidewalk Sales takes place in the spring and the fall and is created and organized by the retailers in town as an incentive for people to shop local,” Executive Director Katherine Koch said.
Residents and tourists are invited to visit Marblehead’s boutiques and eateries around Atlantic Avenue, Pleasant Street, and the Historic District, where businesses will be offering unique sales throughout the day.
“10 a.m. to 5 p.m. are the standard business hours,” Koch said. “Some shops may be open later or earlier and you will see some great promotions and awesome sales merchandise.”
Koch emphasized how much the town has come to love this event, noting that both local communities and surrounding areas have begun to eagerly anticipate it.
Participating stores this year include Liz Steinfeld Lingerie, Pawsitively Marblehead, All Chic, Marblehead Hardware, Pint Size and Up, Room Tonic, Arbor, Mud Puddle Toys, Magic Hat Thrift Shop, Hestia Creations, and many more.
