Marblehead Little Theatre (MLT) is excited to present its Friday Night Film Festival this August, featuring four classic films introduced by local film critic Marc Wortman.
The festival will take place on four Fridays throughout the month, with each screening beginning at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Aug. 1 – The Princess Bride
Aug. 8 – Mamma Mia
Aug. 22 – E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial
Aug. 29 – Young Frankenstein
Tickets:
$10 for adults
$5 for children 12 and under
Tickets will be sold at the door only — cash or Venmo accepted.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own popcorn or snacks. Concessions will also be available for purchase before the movie starts.
Wortman will provide a brief introduction before each screening, and those interested are invited to stay for a Q&A session following the film.
Founded in 1955 by members of the Marblehead Women’s Club, Marblehead Little Theatre is one of the oldest community theater groups in New England. The award-winning organization has been presenting live productions for more than six decades.
