The Marblehead Museum will host the second annual Colonial Craft Fair in the Jeremiah Lee Mansion Gardens on Saturday, May 24 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The fair will feature skilled artisans and historical reenactors from across New England who will demonstrate crafts from 300 years ago.
Visitors can learn how shoes were made from a Master Shoemaker, try their hand at copperplate printing, see a barrel get made from start to finish, watch a cook prepare colonial dishes and more. Visitors will also have an opportunity to purchase wares created by the artisans.
Tickets for the fair can be purchased at the door. Tickets for museum members are $10 per person or $25 per family, and tickets for the public are $15 per person nor $40 per family. Children aged 3 and under are free.
