The Marblehead Museum announced earlier this week that its fourth annual Tag and Treasure Sale has been postponed to Saturday, Sept. 23. The sale was originally scheduled for Aug. 26 with a rain date of Aug. 27, but was moved to September due to the weather forecast.
The six-hour sale will be held at the Jeremiah Lee Mansion Gardens at 161 Washington St. starting at 8 a.m. The museum has already accumulated hundreds of unique items for sale including art, antiques, collectibles, books, vintage decorations, jewelry, and others. Item donations can still be made at 147 Washington St. every Saturday leading up to the event’s new date. All proceeds from the upcoming sale will go toward funding educational programs at the Marblehead Museum.
