Friday, Feb. 3

Enforcement

Police on Friday at 5:36 a.m. issued a verbal warning to a driver at Broughton Road and Humphrey Street; issued a verbal warning at 5:50 a.m. to a driver at Humphrey Street and Birch Street; issued a red light violation verbal warning at 7:26 a.m. to a Smith Street driver.

Crash

Police on Friday at 8:21 a.m. responded a motor vehicle crash reported on Pleasant Street; on Friday at 12:17 p.m. took a report of a past crash on Elm Street.

Harass

Police on Friday at 10:03 a.m. received a harassment report from Lindsey Street.

Larceny/Other

Police on Friday at 10:44 a.m. responded to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Crowninshield Road.

Peace Please

Police on Friday on 7:13 p.m. restored peace after responding to a complaint on Pleasant Street.

Saturday, Feb. 4

Odd

Police on Saturday at 6:31 a.m. responded to a report of an odd noise on Weston Road.

Brrrrrrr

Police were busy Saturday morning responding to calls related to Saturday’s severe deep freeze: At 8:10 p.m., frozen pipes reported on Leslie Cove; frozen pipes reported on Atlantic Avenue at 8:46 a.m.; heat issues investigated on Brook Road at 9:52 a.m.; no gas pressure reported at 10:14 a.m. on Pond Street; responded at 7:57 p.m. with the Fire Department to a water break reported on Pleasant Street; responded at 10:39 p.m. to a report of a water meter leaking on Puritan Road.

Smoke

Police and the Fire Department responded on Saturday at 5:42 p.m. to smoke initially reported in a Front Street building and subsequently reported at 5:52 p.m. at Darling Street and Washington Street.

Enforcement

Police on Saturday at 10:11 a.m. issued a verbal warning to a driver at Humphrey Street and Birch Street; issued a citation at 6:16 p.m. to a Pleasant Street driver.

 

Sunday, Feb. 5

Water, water . . .

Police responded on Sunday at 7:03 a.m. with the Fire Department to a “water issue” reported on Fort Sewall Terrace; at 8:39 a.m. , to a burst water main on Atlantic Avenue; at 9:06 a.m., to a water issue on Beacon Street.

Fraud or not

Police on Sunday at 11:33 a.m. responded to a report of possible fraud on Tufts Street; responded at 2:50 p.m. to a report of larceny/forgery/fraud on Cliff Street.

Alarms

Police responded on Sunday at 4:02 p.m. with the Fire Department to a fire alarm on Washington Street; responded at 5:16 p.m. with the Fire Department to a report of “fire other” on Turner Road.

Enforcement

Police on Sunday at 5:50 p.m. issued a verbal warning to a driver at Brown Street and Ocean Avenue; issued a citation to a driver at 6:18 p.m. at Cedar Street and Cherry Street; at 6:40 p.m., issued a verbal warning to a driver at Lafayette Street and West Shore Drive
