Saturday, May 20
A report of a motor vehicle accident at 8:55 a.m. at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Gerry Street. The caller reported a two-car rear end crash and reported no injuries.
A report of a pole on fire at 10:20 p.m. at 11 Dodge Rd. The caller reported a tree top on fire with no house involvement. Ladder request was canceled and electric light was requested and responded to the scene.
A report of a motor vehicle stop at 12:26 a.m. in the vicinity of 176 Humphrey St. and 2 Clifton Ave. The party was given a verbal warning for speeding.
A report of a found dog at 10:27 a.m. on Bessom Street. It was determined that the dog belonged to 37 Village St. The dog was returned to the owners by the ACO after they had been out looking for her.
A report of a stuck skunk at 8:12 p.m. at 35 Washington St. The caller reported that a skunk was potentially stuck in some sort of fencing six or seven houses to the right of the church and up a granite staircase. Police said the ACO would look into the situation.
A report of kids pounding on a door at 9:07 p.m. at 8 Rockcliff Rd. The caller reported that kids ran up to her door and pounded on it before running off. Police reported nothing in the area.
A report of a disturbance at 10:15 p.m. on Pleasant St. The caller reported hearing what sounded like a man and a woman yelling at each other. An officer responded and stood in the area for a while but was unable to locate anyone screaming.
Lost and Found
A report of a lost phone at 9:12 a.m. in the vicinity of 27 Smith St. The caller came to the police station and dropped off the phone that he said he found along the bike path. The owner of the phone came in later, asking if anyone had located a bike with it. The officer relayed they do not have it but will call if it is found.
A report of a found wallet at 11:47 a.m. at 0 Brackett Pl. The owner came to the station and collected the wallet.
A report of a found debit card at 10:25 p.m. in the vicinity of 218 Beacon St.
A report of a possible scam at 11:58 a.m. on 15 Tedesco St. The caller reported a possible scam text.
A report of a stuck bus at 3:49 p.m. The MBTA starter reported one of the busses was stuck due to a parked car. Tow was approved for illegal parking and blocking traffic. The car owner was unable to be reached and the car was towed; at 10:45 p.m. at 54 Lee St. The caller reported a bus driver having problems on her street. The bus was headed backwards toward Abbot Hall. The responding officer reported no busses in area however they observed one that left the area recently.
