Wednesday, April 16

Alarms
At 3:03 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm at a residence on Pinecliff Drive. The property was checked and determined to be secure. At 2:35 p.m., a second alarm was activated at a location on Pleasant Street. Officers responded and confirmed it was a false alarm.

Assist Citizen
At 9:02 a.m., officers assisted a resident on Sparhawk Terrace with a non-criminal matter. At 11 a.m., another assist citizen call was received near Essex Street. Officers responded and found no further action was needed.

Assist Other Agency
At 6:01 p.m., officers assisted another agency with a matter on Brackett Place. Coordination was completed on scene.

Be On The Look Out
At 7:15 a.m., officers received a BOLO notice from Salem referencing a subject of interest. Marblehead units remained on alert throughout the day.

Building Checks
Early morning building checks were conducted at 5:40 a.m., 5:41 a.m., and 5:42 a.m. on Community Road, and at 5:44 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All buildings were secure. Additional checks were conducted later in the day at 1:20 p.m. and 8:52 p.m. on Community Road, and at 1:20 p.m., 8:52 p.m., and 9:31 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. A property on Brook Road was also checked at 9:36 p.m.

Complaint General
A general complaint was reported at 10:42 a.m. on Broughton Road. Officers responded and filed a report. Another complaint was received at 2:29 p.m. on Evans Road and was documented. A third complaint at 5:22 p.m. on Angenica Terrace involved multiple responding officers, fire department personnel, and EMS.

Found/Lost Property
Three reports of found or lost property were filed during the day. At 12:41 p.m., officers responded to Front Street and Fort Beach Lane. At 12:46 p.m., another report came in from West Shore Drive. At 1:04 p.m., a third case was logged on Sewall Street. Officers responded to each incident and rendered services as needed.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
At 8:54 a.m., a resident on Circle Street reported suspected fraud. Officers responded and documented the matter.

Motor Vehicle Complaints and Stops
At 9:55 a.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop near Humphrey Street and Sheldon Road and issued a verbal warning. At 2:03 p.m., a moving motor vehicle complaint was received near Pleasant Street and Ocean Avenue. Officers investigated and rendered services. At 7:08 p.m., another complaint was made near Jersey Street and West Shore Drive, but the vehicle was not located.

Out of Town 911 Call
At 11:54 a.m., a 911 call from Underhill Road in Lynnfield was received and referred to the appropriate agency.

Utilities
At 6:07 a.m., a utility issue was reported near Bradlee Road. Officers referred the matter to the appropriate agency. At 6:50 a.m., Mayer Line Clearing crews were observed working on Woodfin Terrace, and RJ Devereaux crews were working at multiple sites: Bubier Road and Evans Road. National Water Main teams were on Hathaway Road and Atlantic Avenue, while Granese crews worked on Rowland Street and Prospect Street. COMM TRACT crews were also operating at Woodfin Terrace. GRID utility crews were observed on Stonybrook Road. Officers monitored all locations and reported safe work conditions.

Thursday, April 17

Arrests

At 11:34 a.m. Thursday, a juvenile was arrested near Pleasant Street following a reported motor vehicle break-in. The individual, 15 years old, was taken into custody and charged with breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, breaking into a depository, carrying a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Amy Gilliand of the Marblehead Police Department dispatch refused to provide the Marblehead Weekly News with the arrest report and did not state any reasons as to why.

Assist Citizen
At 6:09 a.m., officers assisted a citizen on Stonybrook Road. At 8:02 a.m., a second assist occurred on Evans Road, and at 11:52 a.m., officers responded to assist a resident on Dartmouth Road. In all cases, officers rendered services and resolved the matters on scene.

Building Checks
Building checks were conducted at 2:14 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 5:36 a.m. on Bessom Street, 6:28 a.m. and 6:29 a.m. on Community Road. All locations were checked and secured.

Complaint General
At 10:12 a.m., a general complaint was reported on Hawkes Street. Officers, along with fire command and prevention personnel, responded. A report was filed.

Disturbance
At 6:49 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance on Dartmouth Road. A party was transported to the hospital by ambulance. A report was filed.

Found/Lost Property
At 2:30 p.m., officers responded to Old Salem Road for a report of lost property. At 7:12 p.m., an Apple Watch was found and turned in from Village Street. Officers secured the items for safekeeping.

Motor Vehicle Crash
At 9:33 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Clifton Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. Fire and EMS units were also dispatched to the scene. A report was filed.

Motor Vehicle Stops
At 9:37 a.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at Humphrey Street and Thompson Road. A verbal warning was issued to the driver for a traffic infraction.

Property Checks
Property checks were performed at 12:57 a.m. on Maple Street, 8:51 a.m. on Community Road, 8:54 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 10:14 p.m. on Humphrey Street. All locations were found secure or noted as requiring no further action.

Vandalism
At 3:18 p.m., officers responded to a report of vandalism on West Shore Drive. A report was taken and filed.

Work Details
Beginning at 6:50 a.m., officers monitored various construction crews including RJ Devereaux teams on Bubier Road and Evans Road, Mayer Line Clearing on Woodfin Terrace, Granese crews on Rowland Street and Prospect Street, and COMM TRACT crews on Woodfin Terrace. GRID utility teams were working on Stonybrook Road starting at 7:54 a.m. and 7:58 a.m., and a Karrp crew was monitored at 1:50 p.m. on Gregory Street. All work zones were reported as safe, with services rendered as needed.

911 Hang-Ups
At 8:33 a.m., a 911 hang-up was received from Girdler Road. Officers responded and confirmed the call was accidental. At 8:36 a.m., a second hang-up from Taft Street was investigated with no emergency discovered.

Friday, April 18

911 Hang-Ups
At 12:23 p.m., a 911 hang-up was received from the area of Humphrey Street and Rose Avenue. Officers investigated and confirmed there was no emergency. A second 911 hang-up was received at 2:17 p.m. from Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street. Officers responded and found the call to be accidental.

Annoying Phone Calls
At 12:33 p.m., a resident on Countryside Lane reported receiving multiple annoying phone calls. Officers responded and documented the matter.

Assist Citizen
At 6:08 p.m., officers responded to a request for assistance on West Shore Drive. The issue was resolved without further incident.

Building Checks
Property and building checks were conducted at 1:23 a.m. on West Shore Drive, 1:27 a.m. on Smith Street, and 1:36 a.m. on Pleasant Street. Additional checks were performed at 8:51 a.m., 8:54 a.m., 8:43 p.m., 8:44 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9 p.m., 10:04 p.m., and 10:59 p.m. on Community Road, Atlantic Avenue, Village Street, Lighthouse Lane, and Dennett Road. All properties were found secure and required no police action.

Complaint General
At 10:05 a.m., officers responded to a general complaint at the intersection of Vine Street and Pleasant Street. Services were rendered and the situation was resolved. At 11:13 a.m., a second complaint was addressed on Elm Street. Officers responded and provided assistance. At 9:19 p.m., a third complaint was received from Lighthouse Lane. Officers investigated and resolved the issue.

Detail – Police
At 9:13 a.m., officers provided a police detail at a work zone on Stonybrook Road. The assignment was completed safely.

Disturbances
At 3:35 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Pleasant Street. Multiple officers responded and a report was filed. At 4:22 p.m., a second disturbance occurred at the same address. Officers returned to the scene and documented the event.

Found/Lost Property
At 4:50 p.m., officers were called to Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Avenue for a report of found or lost property. The item was secured, and assistance was provided to the reporting party.

General Information
At 11:01 a.m., officers responded to Pleasant Street to collect general information for documentation. The call was noted and no further action was required.

Motor Vehicle Complaints and Stops
At 7:08 a.m., a motor vehicle stop was conducted at Pleasant Street and Mohawk Road. A verbal warning was issued. At 8:04 p.m., officers received a moving vehicle complaint at Lafayette Street and Carna Road. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. Later, at 8:37 p.m., a motor vehicle stop at Mary Lane and West Shore Drive resulted in a citation. At 10:21 p.m., a second stop on Harbor Avenue led to a citation. At the same time, another citation was issued at Ocean Avenue.

Motor Vehicle Crashes
At 10:40 a.m., a motor vehicle crash occurred at Pickett Street and Merritt Street. Officers responded and investigated the crash. At 12:08 p.m., another crash took place at Sheldon Road and Elizabeth Road, resulting in a vehicle being towed. At 12:42 p.m., a third crash was reported in Washington Square. Services were rendered and no injuries were noted.

Property Checks
In addition to the building checks listed earlier, officers conducted patrol checks at 8:43 p.m., 8:44 p.m., and 10:59 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue and Community Road, confirming all locations were secure.

Restraining Order Served/Attempted
At 11:16 a.m., officers served or attempted to serve a restraining order at a residence on Commercial Street. The action was documented and services were rendered.

Work Details
Beginning at 6:50 a.m., officers monitored several utility and construction crews throughout town. RJ Devereaux had three active crews working on Bubier Road and Evans Road. Mayer Line Clearing was on site at Woodfin Terrace. Granese had two teams at Rowland Street and Prospect Street, one of which required no action. COMM TRACT was active on Woodfin Terrace and later relocated to West Shore Drive and Cornell Road. Kelley Tree crews were present at Merritt Street, and GRID teams worked on Stonybrook Road. All locations were monitored and reported safe.

Saturday, April 19

911 Hang-Ups
At 4:02 p.m., officers responded to a 911 open line near Londonderry Road and Leggs Hill Road. The call was determined to be unfounded. At 9:05 p.m., a second 911 call was received from Highland Avenue in Salem. The call was transferred to the appropriate agency.

Alarms
At 6:31 p.m., a burglar alarm was reported at a residence on Dodge Road. Officers responded, checked the property, and determined it was secure. At 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to another burglar alarm at a business on Humphrey Street. The alarm was investigated and no issues were found.

Assist Citizen
At 1:24 a.m., officers responded to assist a citizen on Pleasant Street. Services were rendered at the scene. At 3:48 a.m., another call for assistance came from Brown Street. Officers investigated and determined the situation to be unfounded.

Building Checks
Routine building and property checks were completed at 9:04 a.m. on Community Road, 9:08 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 7:27 p.m. and 9:46 p.m. again on Community Road, 7:29 p.m. and 9:48 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 9:55 p.m. on Sewall Street, and 9:57 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane. All locations were secure and required no further action.

Complaint General
At 12:01 p.m., a general complaint was reported near Humphrey Street and Leicester Road. Officers responded and addressed the matter on scene. At 2:32 p.m., another complaint was reported at Pleasant Street and Watson Street. Officers responded and rendered services. At 11:23 p.m., officers received a complaint on Broughton Road. After checking the area, the source could not be located. A second call was received at 11:34 p.m. near Smith Street with a similar outcome.

Disturbance
At 11:09 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance on Commercial Street. The involved individual was taken to a guardian or responsible party. A report was taken to document the event.

Found/Lost Property
At 10:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to Dennett Road for a report of found or lost property. The item was secured and services were rendered.

General Information
At 12:57 p.m., officers documented general information related to a detail assignment in Market Square. The matter was handled without incident.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
At 4:15 p.m., officers responded to Pleasant Street for a report of suspected fraud. Services were rendered and the case was logged.

Motor Vehicle Complaints
At 12:56 p.m., a moving vehicle complaint was received from Ocean Avenue. Officers responded and the operator was located and advised.

Motor Vehicle Stops
Officers conducted several motor vehicle stops throughout the day. Citations were issued at 9:30 a.m. and 9:57 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 10:35 a.m. at Humphrey Street and Broughton Road, 11:14 a.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, 12:03 p.m. at Atlantic Avenue, 12:43 p.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Wyman Road, 1:07 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue, 1:23 p.m. near Atlantic Avenue, and 10:11 p.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Adams Road. Verbal warnings were issued at 10:26 a.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Bubier Road and at 12:09 p.m. at Atlantic Avenue and Phillips Street.

Utilities
At 11:32 a.m., officers responded to a utility issue on Humphrey Street. The matter was handled by the appropriate agency.

Work Details
At 12:06 p.m., officers provided coverage for a March 1 event in Market Square, followed by another assignment at 12:07 p.m. for March 2 in the same area. Both events were supported without incident.

Suspicious Activity
At 11:20 p.m., officers responded to Ocean Avenue after a report of someone pointing a green laser. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the source.

Sunday, April 20

911 Hang-Ups
At 7:13 p.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up from Hereford Road. Upon investigation, it was determined there was no emergency and services were rendered.

Alarms
At 3:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to a burglar alarm on Baldwin Road. The alarm was determined to be false. Later in the evening at 7:44 p.m., a second burglar alarm activated at a residence on Front Street. Officers responded and confirmed it was also a false alarm. At 10:15 p.m., a third alarm was reported on Bradlee Road. Officers arrived and verified the scene was secure, classifying the activation as another false alarm.

Assist Citizen
At 12:35 p.m., officers assisted a resident on Russell Street with a non-criminal matter. Services were rendered and the situation was resolved on scene.

Complaint General
At 4:52 p.m., officers responded to a general complaint on Atlantic Avenue. At 5:46 p.m., a second complaint was received from Broughton Road. Officers investigated and determined the report was unfounded. At 9:05 p.m., another complaint at the same address resulted in officers restoring the peace after speaking with the involved parties.

Found/Lost Property
At 12:44 p.m., a report of a lost wallet was received from Pleasant Street. Officers responded, but no further action was required.

Property Checks
Routine property and building checks were performed throughout the day and evening. Officers checked locations at 2:55 a.m. and 2:57 a.m. on Ocean Avenue; 9:13 a.m., 12:22 p.m., 2:03 p.m., 6:20 p.m., 9:13 p.m., and 10:10 p.m. on Community Road; and 9:17 a.m., 12:25 p.m., 2:07 p.m., 6:14 p.m., 10:01 p.m., and 10:08 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All buildings and properties were secure with no suspicious activity found.

Monday, April 21

911 Hang-Ups
At 3:09 p.m., a 911 hang-up was reported from Gregory Street. Officers responded to the area and confirmed there was no emergency. The call was determined to be accidental.

Alarms
At 3:35 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm on West Street. The property was investigated and found to be secure with no signs of forced entry.

Assist Citizen
At 10:38 a.m., officers were dispatched to Sparhawk Terrace to assist a resident with a non-criminal matter. At 11:09 a.m., a second call for assistance came from Atlantic Avenue. Officers responded and provided aid.

Assist Other Agency
At 8:31 a.m., Marblehead officers assisted another agency on Lafayette Street. The matter was handled collaboratively, and services were rendered without further issue.

Building Checks
Routine building checks were performed at 7:22 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue and at 10:10 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane. All locations were found secure.

Complaint General
At 7:17 p.m., officers responded to a general complaint on Vine Street. Officers investigated and resolved the issue. At 9:39 p.m., a second complaint was reported from the area of West Shore Drive and Pequot Road. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the source of the concern.

Detail – Police
At 8:20 a.m., officers were assigned to a traffic detail at Seaview Avenue and Humphrey Street. The assignment was completed without incident.

Motor Vehicle Stops
Two motor vehicle stops were conducted during the evening. At 4:29 p.m., a stop at Pleasant Street and Gerry Street resulted in a citation issued. At 4:48 p.m., another stop was conducted at Prospect Street and Pleasant Street, where a second citation was issued.

Out of Town 911 Call
At 2:43 p.m., a 911 call was received from Derby Street in Salem. The call was transferred to the appropriate jurisdiction for follow-up.

Property Checks
Property checks were conducted throughout the day at 12:59 a.m. and 6:43 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 1 a.m., 10:12 a.m., 1:10 p.m., 6:44 p.m., and 7:29 p.m. on Community Road, 2:34 a.m. on Tioga Way, and 2:21 p.m., 6:43 p.m., and 8:41 p.m. on Widger Road. All properties were found secure.

Suspicious Activity
At 3:48 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Atlantic Avenue. Officers investigated and filed a report.

Tuesday, April 22

911 Hang-Ups
At 1:55 p.m., officers responded to a 911 hang-up call on Tioga Way. The call was investigated and no emergency was found. At 4:29 p.m., another 911 hang-up was reported on Brown Street and was also determined to be accidental. A third call came in at 4:45 p.m. from Pleasant Street, and officers confirmed there was no issue.

Alarms
At 12:17 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm on Tioga Way. The call was investigated and found to be a false alarm.

Annoying Phone Calls
At 12:55 p.m., a resident on State Street reported receiving persistent annoying phone calls. Officers responded and documented the incident under report number 25-604-OF.

Be On The Look Out
At 12:55 a.m., Marblehead officers received a BOLO alert related to a situation in Lynn. No further action was required.

Building Checks
Routine building and property checks were completed at 1:17 a.m. on Market Square, 1:47 a.m. on Pleasant Street, 6:31 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Community Road, and 6:35 p.m. and 10:04 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All locations were found secure with no issues.

Complaint General
At 4:49 p.m., a general complaint was reported on Pleasant Street. Multiple officers responded and restored peace. A report was filed under incident number 25-606-OF.

Detail – Police
At 7:50 a.m., officers were assigned to two construction details on Stonybrook Road. Both assignments were completed without incident.

Disturbance
At 11:29 p.m., officers responded to a reported disturbance on Pleasant Street. The incident was investigated and peace was restored.

Found/Lost Property
At 5:05 p.m., officers responded to Clifton Avenue and Humphrey Street for a report of found or lost property. The item was secured and documented.

Motor Vehicle Crashes
At 1:11 p.m., a minor motor vehicle crash occurred on Atlantic Avenue. Officers responded, but no further action was required.

Motor Vehicle Stops
At 5:28 a.m., a motor vehicle stop was conducted near Rockaway Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. A verbal warning was issued. At 10:14 a.m., a second stop was conducted on Pleasant Street, where another verbal warning was given.

Property Checks
Officers conducted additional property checks at 6:31 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Community Road and 6:35 p.m. and 10:04 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All properties were secure and required no action.

Utilities
At 6:50 a.m., Mayer Line Clearing crews were monitored at Woodfin Terrace, later relocating to Ware Lane and then to Ocean Avenue. RJ Devereaux crews were active at Bubier Road and Evans Road. Granese crews operated on Rowland Street, Spring Street, and Pleasant Street. National Water Main worked at Crown Way and Atlantic Avenue. Verizon crews were on site at Humphrey Street and Brookhouse Drive at 1:50 p.m. In the evening at 8:33 p.m., GRID crews were present at Lafayette Street and West Shore Drive. Officers monitored all work details and reported no issues.

Vandalism
At 11:33 a.m., a vandalism complaint was reported on Pleasant Street. Officers investigated and filed a report.

Work Details
At 2:03 p.m., officers provided support for a service-related assignment at the Bagroom/Cart House on Tedesco Street. The call was completed without further incident.
