Wednesday, April 9

Assist Citizen
At 11:25 a.m., officers responded to a request for assistance from a resident on Thomas Circle. The matter required officer support and was documented in a report.

Assist Other Agency
At 2:19 p.m., Marblehead officers assisted another agency with a matter on Foster Street. Coordination between departments ensured proper resolution of the issue.

Building Checks
A property check was conducted at 1:10 a.m. on West Shore Drive. Officers found the premises secure with no signs of suspicious activity.

Complaint General
A general complaint was reported at 7:07 p.m. on Gerry Street. Officers responded and resolved the matter on scene.
At 7:52 p.m., another complaint was reported at Smith Street and Atlantic Avenue. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the source of the issue.
At 10:03 p.m., officers responded to a concern on Prospect Street. A report was taken for documentation.

Detail Assignments
Police details were recorded at 6:58 a.m. and 6:59 a.m. on Maverick Street. One detail required no additional police action, while the other was actively supported by an officer on site.

Found/Lost Property
At 10:25 a.m., officers responded to West Shore Drive for a report of lost or found property. Assistance was provided as needed.
Later, at 6:40 p.m., another item was reported lost or found on Lafayette Street. Officers secured the item and logged the report.

General Information
At 4:12 p.m., officers documented general information related to an incident on Pond Street. No enforcement was necessary.

Missing Package
At 5:06 p.m., a resident on Garden Road reported a missing package. Officers responded and began a follow-up investigation into the report.

Motor Vehicles
At 1:31 p.m., a motor vehicle stop was conducted on Atlantic Avenue. A verbal warning was issued for a minor traffic infraction.
At 2:06 p.m., another vehicle stop occurred on Ocean Avenue, during which a citation was issued.

Out of Town 911 Call
At 9:01 p.m., a 911 call was transferred from Neptune Street in Lynn. The call was referred to the appropriate jurisdiction.

Property Checks
Evening property checks were completed at 9:24 p.m. on Community Road and 9:45 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. All buildings were secure.

Summons Served/Attempted
At 12:37 p.m., officers attempted to serve a summons on Creesy Street. The attempt was completed and logged.

Work Details
Officers monitored various utility and construction crews throughout the day.
At 6:50 a.m., RJ Devereaux crews were observed working at Bubier Road and Atlantic Avenue and again at Evans Road and Elm Street. Both sites operated safely.
Granese crews were active at Curtis Street and Elm Street, Rowland Street and Prospect Street, and Pleasant Street and Prospect Street. Police responded to ensure safe working conditions.
National Water Main crews were present on Leicester Road. Some teams required officer oversight while others did not.
COMTRAC crews were on-site at Woodfin Terrace at 7:20 a.m. No issues were reported at either of their two work zones.
GRID crews worked at Stonybrook Road at 8:47 a.m. and 8:48 a.m. No police action was required.

Thursday, April 10

Alarms
At 4:27 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm on Pinecliff Drive. The alarm was determined to be false and the property was secure. Later in the day at 7:50 p.m., a second burglar alarm was reported on Ocean Avenue. Officers checked the premises and found no signs of forced entry or suspicious activity.

Assist Citizen
At 3:03 p.m., a resident on Creesy Street contacted police for assistance with a non-criminal matter. Officers responded, and no further action was required.

Assist Other Agency
At 4:20 p.m., Marblehead officers assisted another agency with an investigation on Gerry Street. Coordination between departments was completed on scene.

Be On The Look Out
At 12:28 a.m., Marblehead Police were notified of a BOLO (Be On the Look Out) issued in the area of Canal Street in Salem. Officers acknowledged and remained alert for the subject vehicle or person.

Building Checks
Routine building checks were conducted at the following locations and times:

  • 2:10 a.m. on Everett Paine Boulevard

  • 2:14 a.m. on Community Road

  • 2:24 a.m. on Pleasant Street

  • 4:52 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue
    All properties were secured and showed no signs of unauthorized access.

Disturbance
At 8:31 p.m., officers responded to a reported disturbance on Pleasant Street. The involved parties were spoken to and the situation was investigated. No immediate threat or hazard was found.
At 11:31 p.m., a second disturbance call came from Phillips Street. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the source of the complaint.

Found/Lost Property
No found or lost property was reported on this date.

General Information
At 12:58 p.m., officers were dispatched to Gerry Street to gather general information for documentation. No enforcement action was necessary.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
A report of suspected fraud was filed at 4:31 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue. Officers responded, collected information, and began an investigation. A report was taken and logged under incident number 25-545-OF.

Notary Services
At 2:26 p.m., officers provided notary services to a resident on Rose Avenue. The request was completed without issue.

Property Checks
Afternoon property checks were completed at 10:08 a.m. on Community Road and 10:12 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue. Officers confirmed all was in order.

Work Details
Beginning at 6:50 a.m., officers monitored several utility and construction crews throughout town.

  • RJ Devereaux teams were working at Bubier Road and Atlantic Avenue, and at Evans Road and Elm Street.

  • Granese crews were active at Curtis Street and Elm Street, as well as Rowland Street and both Cross Street and Prospect Street.

  • National Water Main was stationed on Leicester Road and Brook Road.

  • NEUCO teams operated on Maverick Street and Pleasant Street.

  • COMTRAC teams were working on Woodfin Terrace at 7:20 a.m.

  • GRID crews were present at Stonybrook Road in the morning and returned later in the day at 11:57 a.m. for additional work.
    All sites were monitored by officers and noted to be safe and compliant.

Friday, April 11

Alarms
At 11:34 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm at a residence on Ocean Avenue. Upon investigation, the alarm was deemed a false activation and the property was secure. At 12:55 p.m., a second alarm was reported on Shuman Road. Officers checked the property and confirmed the alarm was accidental, with no further action required.

Assist Citizen
At 1:57 p.m., a resident on Beacon Street requested assistance for a non-criminal matter. Officers responded and provided support as needed, resolving the situation on scene.

Be On The Look Out
At 12:28 a.m., a BOLO was issued referencing a vehicle in Salem. Marblehead officers acknowledged the alert and remained watchful for the subject.

Building Checks
Routine building checks were conducted at 12:39 a.m. on Community Road, 12:40 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 12:47 a.m. on West Shore Drive, 12:49 a.m. on Baldwin Road, 1:15 a.m. on Ocean Avenue, 9:49 a.m. on Community Road, and 9:52 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue. Additional checks were completed at 5:24 p.m. and 9:10 p.m. on Community Road, 5:27 p.m. and 9:12 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 9:43 p.m. on Pleasant Street. All locations were found secure with no suspicious activity.

Complaint General
A complaint was reported at 4:26 p.m. on Village Street regarding a neighborhood issue. Officers responded and resolved the matter. At 6:34 p.m., another complaint was received from the area of High Street and Orne Street; officers searched the area but were unable to locate the source. A third complaint came in at 9:28 p.m. from Widger Road. Officers addressed the concern and services were rendered.

Found/Lost Property
At 1:01 p.m., a resident on Atlantic Avenue reported a lost or found item. Officers responded and secured the item for safekeeping.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
At 10:32 a.m., a report of suspected fraud was filed by a resident on Foster Street. Officers conducted an investigation and documented the incident under report number 25-550-OF.

Motor Vehicles
At 4:22 p.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Humphrey Street, resulting in a citation for a traffic violation. At 5:13 p.m., a second stop was made on Ocean Avenue where the operator was also cited, and the citation was recorded under number 335772AD.

Property Checks
In addition to scheduled building checks, officers performed routine property checks throughout the day. All locations were secure and no issues were reported.

Suspicious Activity
At 5:23 p.m., officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Intrepid Circle. The area was investigated and found to be safe, with no criminal behavior observed.

Utilities
At 3:32 p.m., officers responded to a reported utility issue on Driftwood Road involving possible electrical or phone line concerns. The appropriate service provider was notified and assistance was provided as needed.

Work Details
Throughout the morning and afternoon, officers monitored several work crews. RJ Devereaux teams were active at Bubier Road and Atlantic Avenue and at Evans Road and Elm Street. Granese crews operated at Rowland Street and Prospect Street, and Rowland Street and Cross Street. National Water Main crews had two active work sites on Leicester Road. NEUCO crews were stationed at Maverick Street and Prince Street and also at Maverick Street and Pleasant Street. One location required officer presence while the other did not. RJ Salem Pierce crews were also noted at Evans Road and Elm Street. GRID utility crews were observed working at two separate locations on Stonybrook Road. Bannon Paving was active near Hereford Road and Humphrey Street. MMLD had a brief presence on Commercial Street; no police support was needed.

Saturday, April 12

Alarms
At 8:13 p.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm reported as “WIRELESS, BACK DOOR” at a property on Pleasant Street. The alarm was determined to be false, and no signs of forced entry were observed.

Complaint General
At 9:39 p.m., a general complaint was received from Green Street. Officers responded and spoke with the involved parties. A verbal warning was issued to resolve the matter peacefully.

Found/Lost Property
Three separate reports of found or lost property were documented throughout the day. At 4:14 a.m., officers responded to a report on Pleasant Street. At 11:59 a.m., another report was logged on Atlantic Avenue. A third incident was recorded at 3:32 p.m. on Frost Lane. In all cases, officers assisted with recovery or documentation, and services were rendered.

Motor Vehicle Crash
At 4:15 a.m., a motor vehicle crash occurred on West Shore Drive. Officers, along with Fire Department and EMS units, responded to the scene. The crash was documented and a report was filed under incident number 25-85-AC.

Property Checks
Officers conducted routine property checks throughout the day to ensure public safety and security. Checks were performed at 8:32 a.m., 6:42 p.m., and 9:33 p.m. on Community Road; at 8:34 a.m., 6:45 p.m., and 9:36 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue; and at 10:06 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane. All locations were found secure with no suspicious activity reported.

Utilities
At 6:50 a.m., officers responded to a call for Mayer Line Clearing services on Woodfin Terrace. The work was monitored and services were rendered without incident.

911 Hang-Up
Officers responded to three separate 911 hang-up calls. At 9:58 p.m., a call from Intrepid Circle was received and merged with a second call at 9:59 p.m. from the same location. Officers checked the area and determined no emergency was present. At 10:48 p.m., a third hang-up call was received from Beacon Hill Road. Officers responded and confirmed the call was accidental.

Sunday, April 13

Alarms
At 8:39 p.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm on Doaks Lane. The alarm was determined to be false after officers inspected the property and found no signs of forced entry or suspicious activity.

Assist Citizen
At 12:43 p.m., officers assisted a citizen on Technology Drive with a non-criminal matter. Services were rendered to ensure the issue was resolved.

Assist Other Agency
At 3:23 p.m., Marblehead officers assisted another agency with a call on Cedar Street. Coordination was successful, and no further assistance was required.

Burglary/Breaking & Entering Motor Vehicle
At 5:31 p.m., officers responded to a report of a break-in to a motor vehicle on Humphrey Street. A report was taken and the incident was documented under report number 25-559-OF.

Complaint General
At 9:27 a.m., officers responded to a moving motor vehicle complaint at Pleasant Street and Smith Street. A citation was issued to the operator. Later at 3:01 p.m., another moving motor vehicle complaint was received from Humphrey Street and Pilgrim Road. Officers investigated and rendered services.

Detail – Police
At 5:26 p.m., officers were assigned to a police detail on Atlantic Avenue. The assignment was completed without incident.

Event – Marblehead Half Marathon
Between 8:20 a.m. and 8:28 a.m., officers were stationed at various points across town in support of the Marblehead Half Marathon. Officers provided traffic control and crowd safety at locations including Ocean Avenue and Harbor Avenue, Ocean Avenue and Harvard Street, Lafayette Street and Maple Street, Ocean Avenue and Atlantic Avenue, Humphrey Street and Doane Street, Smith Street and Pleasant Street, Lafayette Street and Humphrey Street, Lafayette Street and West Shore Drive, and Ocean Avenue and Pleasant Street. The event concluded without any major incidents.

Found/Lost Property
At 3:45 p.m., officers responded to Farrell Court for a report of found or lost property. The item was secured, and assistance was provided to the reporting party.

Motor Vehicle Crash
At 2:10 p.m., officers responded to a crash at the intersection of Mugford Street and Market Square. EMS and fire personnel also responded. A report was taken and documented under accident number 25-86-AC.

Out of Town 911 Call
At 7:04 p.m., dispatch received a 911 call from Avalon Drive in Weymouth. The call was transferred to the appropriate jurisdiction.

Property Checks
Officers conducted property checks at various times throughout the day. Checks were logged at 12:29 a.m. on Humphrey Street, 1:02 a.m. on West Shore Drive, 11:01 a.m., 5:13 p.m., 7:06 p.m., and 10:25 p.m. on Community Road, 11:07 a.m. and 10:23 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 9:49 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane. All properties were found secure, except the check on Lighthouse Lane, where officers were unable to locate the property.

911 Hang-Up
At 3:54 p.m., a 911 hang-up call was received from Pleasant Street. Officers responded and confirmed there was no emergency.

Monday, April 14

Alarms
At 9:43 a.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm on State Street. Upon arrival, they determined the activation was false and secured the property. At 11:12 a.m., a second alarm was triggered at a business on Atlantic Avenue. Officers confirmed the building was secure and determined the alarm was accidental.

Be On The Look Out
At 7:15 a.m., officers were alerted to a BOLO originating from Albion Street in Salem. Marblehead officers acknowledged the alert and monitored for the subject vehicle.

Complaint General
At 10:56 a.m., a general complaint was filed by a resident on Green Street. Officers responded to the scene and documented the matter in a report filed under incident number 25-562-OF.

Disturbance
At 6:02 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Broughton Road. Officers responded and investigated the matter, which was documented in a report filed under incident number 25-565-OF.

Found/Lost Property
At 5:21 a.m., found or lost property was reported on Village Street. Officers responded and provided assistance. Another report was received at 7:33 a.m. on Pleasant Street, and officers rendered services to help the reporting party.

Larceny/Forgery/Fraud
At 12:47 p.m., a larceny or fraud complaint was reported on Ramsay Road. Officers investigated and took a report under incident number 25-563-OF.

Motor Vehicle Crash
At 2:49 p.m., a past crash was reported near Smith Street. Officers responded and rendered services. A second crash occurred at 3:29 p.m. near the same location and was documented as a minor accident with a report filed under number 25-87-AC.

Motor Vehicle Stops and Complaints
At 8:50 a.m., officers issued a verbal warning during a motor vehicle stop on Pleasant Street. At 3:38 p.m., a moving vehicle complaint was logged at Pilgrim Road and May Street. At 5:50 p.m., another complaint regarding a moving vehicle was received from the intersection of Lafayette Street and Pleasant Street. In both cases, officers investigated the area, though the vehicles were not located.

Notary Services
At 12:03 p.m. and again at 12:43 p.m., officers provided notary services for a resident on Gerry Street. Both appointments were completed without issue.

Property Checks
Throughout the day and night, officers conducted routine property checks. These were completed at 12:28 a.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 12:29 a.m. on Community Road, 12:41 a.m. and 12:41 a.m. on Ocean Avenue, 7:40 p.m. and 8:11 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, 7:40 p.m. and 8:11 p.m. on Community Road, 9:37 p.m. on Humphrey Street, 10:15 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane, 10:16 p.m. and 10:23 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 10:19 p.m. and 10:27 p.m. on Community Road. All properties were secure.

School Crossings
At 2:16 p.m., officers were assigned to a school crossing at Dartmouth Road and Cornell Road. At 2:17 p.m., another school crossing detail was completed at Village Street and Vine Street. Both locations were covered safely during school dismissal hours.

Suspicious Activity
At 4:19 p.m., officers responded to suspicious activity reported near Atlantic Avenue. The area was searched, but the subject could not be located. At 8:01 p.m., suspicious behavior was reported on Wyman Road. Officers investigated and determined there was no threat to public safety.

Work Details
Beginning at 6:50 a.m., officers monitored several crews working across town. RJ Devereaux crews were active on Bubier Road, Elm Street, and Evans Road. Bannon crews were observed working on Harbor Avenue, with three teams not requiring action and two receiving officer assistance. National Water and Salem McMemen crews were on site at Ocean Avenue and Sargent Road. Granese teams operated on Rowland Street and Prospect Street, and later at Stonybrook Road. COMM TRACT teams were initially stationed at Woodfin Terrace and later relocated to West Shore Drive and Evans Road. All worksites were checked and reported as safe.

911 Hang-Up
At 12:24 p.m., a 911 hang-up call was received from Green Street. Officers responded to the area and determined there was no emergency.

Tuesday, April 15

911 Hang-Up
At 1:44 a.m., a 911 hang-up was reported on Higgins Road. Officers responded and determined there was no emergency. At 12:38 p.m., a second hang-up call was received from Lafayette Street. Officers checked the area and confirmed the call was accidental. A third 911 hang-up occurred at 7:18 p.m. on Waldron Court; officers responded and found no cause for concern.

Assist Citizen
At 6:51 a.m., officers assisted a resident on Stonybrook Road with a non-criminal matter. Services were rendered on scene.

Assist Other Agency
At 12:42 p.m., Marblehead officers assisted another agency with a matter at Hammond Place. Coordination was successful and no further police action was necessary.

Be On The Look Out
At 7:15 a.m., a BOLO was received referencing a vehicle or person of interest out of Salem. Marblehead units acknowledged the alert and monitored accordingly.

Building Checks
Officers conducted building checks at 1:09 a.m. on West Shore Drive, 5:53 a.m. on Bessom Street, 5:55 a.m. on Pleasant Street, and 6:09 a.m. on Front Street. All locations were found secure.

Complaint General
At 5:22 p.m., officers responded to a general complaint on Smith Street. The situation was documented in a report under incident number 25-571-OF.

General Information
At 7:15 p.m., officers documented a general information entry on Broughton Road. No police action was required beyond recording the details.

Motor Vehicle Crash
At 12:35 p.m., a motor vehicle crash occurred on Locust Street. Police, fire, and EMS units responded. One citation was issued, and the incident was documented under accident number 25-89-AC and incident number 25-569-OF. A second crash took place at 6:24 p.m. at the intersection of Jersey Street and Shepard Street. Officers investigated and filed the incident under accident number 25-90-AC.

Motor Vehicle Stops
At 11:08 a.m., officers conducted a motor vehicle stop at Pleasant Street and Smith Street, issuing a citation under number T3275257. At 11:22 a.m., a second stop was made at the same intersection, resulting in another citation under number T3275258. Later, at 4:38 p.m., a citation was issued on Buchanan Road and Atlantic Avenue under citation number 345930AD. At 5:02 p.m., another citation was issued at Atlantic Avenue and Beach Street under number 346046AD.

Property Checks
Evening property checks were performed at 8:44 p.m. on Community Road, 8:49 p.m. on Atlantic Avenue, and 9:57 p.m. on Lighthouse Lane. All properties were found secure with no suspicious activity.

Summons Served/Attempted
At 10:04 a.m., officers served or attempted to serve a summons at a residence on Jersey Street. Later, at 8:13 p.m., a second summons service attempt was documented at the same location. Both attempts were successfully carried out.

Work Details
Beginning at 6:50 a.m., officers monitored multiple utility and construction crews around town. Mayer Line Clearing was present on Woodfin Terrace and later relocated to West Shore Drive. RJ Devereaux had two crews on Bubier Road and three on Elm Street and Evans Road. Granese had two teams operating on Rowland Street and Prospect Street. COMM TRACT was also active with two work zones on Woodfin Terrace. GRID had two separate crews working on Stonybrook Road. All operations were conducted safely and received police support where needed.
