Wednesday, Aug. 13
Alarms
At 4:09 p.m., officers responded to a burglar alarm activation on Village Street. After checking the residence and surrounding area, they determined the cause to be a false alarm and cleared without further issue.
Complaints
A general complaint was reported at 12:20 a.m. on Lighthouse Lane. Officers responded and rendered services to address the concern. Later, at 11:47 a.m., another general complaint was made on Pleasant Street, prompting an officer to file a report. At 6:12 p.m., police were called to the area of Dartmouth Road and Lafayette Street for a further complaint and provided assistance. Finally, at 10:12 p.m., officers returned to Lighthouse Lane for a separate complaint, once again rendering services.
Disturbances
Police were dispatched to Endicott Avenue at 2:04 a.m. following a report of a disturbance. Two units arrived on the scene and addressed the issue without any further incident. A second disturbance was reported at 11:45 p.m. on Phillips Street. Upon arrival, officers investigated and found the complaint to be unfounded.
Found/Lost Property
At 9:03 a.m., officers responded to Ocean Avenue for a report involving lost or found property. Services were rendered to address the concern. At 9:53 a.m., a similar property-related report came in from Lighthouse Lane. Officers logged another property call at 11:35 a.m. on Ocean Avenue, and at 4:25 p.m., an item was reported found at the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Beach Street. The day concluded with a 7:22 p.m. response to Thompson Road for another found or lost item.
General Information
A general information call came in at 10:50 p.m. from Gerry Street. An officer was dispatched and provided the necessary assistance to address the matter.
Motor Vehicles
At 9:43 a.m., police received a complaint involving a moving violation near the intersection of West Shore Drive and Green Street. At 4:35 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Marion Road, where a report was taken. Earlier in the day, officers assisted with traffic management for several construction and tree work crews: at 6:50 a.m., Mayer Tree Service was working at Woodfin Terrace; at the same time, three Granese crews were active on Pleasant Street near Mohawk Road, diverting traffic and allowing large vehicles to pass; two RJ Devereaux crews were also working on Prospect Street and another two at Longview Drive and Tedesco Street. Additional officers were assigned to details at Gerry Street and Pleasant Street, as well as Atlantic Avenue, while Newport Construction worked for the MBTA at Humphrey Street around 7:23 a.m.
Out-of-Town 911 Calls
At 10:52 a.m., Marblehead dispatch received a 911 call for an incident occurring on Prince Street in Beverly. The call was immediately transferred to the Beverly Police Department.
Property Checks
Routine overnight property checks were conducted by officers. At 12:28 a.m., the area around Stramski Way was inspected and found to be secure. A second check at 1:05 a.m. confirmed security on Ferry Lane. Another check took place at 9:49 p.m. on Broughton Road, with no issues reported.
Restraint Orders
Police responded to Thompson Road at 12:50 p.m. to serve or attempt to serve a restraining order. Officers rendered services as needed.
Suspicious Activity
At 2:16 a.m., suspicious activity was reported on Washington Street. Officers responded and found no immediate threat after a thorough investigation. At 11:24 p.m., a second report of suspicious activity came in from the Norman Street area. Police again responded and addressed the concern accordingly.
Thursday, Aug. 14
Boat Complaints
At 6:02 p.m., officers responded to Marblehead Harbor after receiving a complaint involving a boat. The situation was investigated.
Building Checks
Shortly after 1:12 a.m., patrols checked multiple buildings. Sgt. Adkerson secured properties on Atlantic Avenue and Community Road, while Officer Gagnon verified security at two addresses on Ocean Avenue. Later, Officer Bates confirmed a building was secure on Lighthouse Lane at 10:01 p.m., and Officer Picariello found no issues during a property check on Humphrey Street at 10:02 p.m.
Complaints
Police responded to two general complaints. The first, at 10:12 a.m. near Atlantic Avenue, was resolved with services rendered. The second, at 2:41 p.m. on Franklin Street, involved a reported issue that could not be located upon arrival.
Disturbances
At 8:09 p.m., a disturbance was reported at Stramski Way. Officer McDonald responded and determined the call was unfounded.

911 Hang-Up
A 911 hang-up call was received from Pleasant Street at 5:18 p.m. Officers were dispatched and confirmed there was no emergency.
Alarms
A burglar alarm was activated at a residence on Baldwin Road at 5:55 a.m. but no action was required. Later, at 6:26 a.m., officers responded to Pinecliff Drive for another burglar alarm, which was determined to be false. At 10:59 a.m., a third alarm on Dodge Road was also ruled a false alarm. A final alarm on Tedesco Street was triggered at 11:24 p.m., and officers again found no issue.
Area Checks
Officers conducted building checks at multiple locations throughout the day. These included Stramski Way at 3:17 a.m., West Shore Drive at 3:18 a.m., Community Road at 1:32 p.m., Atlantic Avenue at 1:35 p.m., Ocean Avenue at 9:05 p.m., Humphrey Street at 10:21 p.m., and Wyman Road at 11:57 p.m.

Motor Vehicle Crashes

Motor Vehicle Stops
Officers made several motor vehicle stops throughout the day. Verbal warnings were issued on Humphrey Street at Thompson Road at 9:58 a.m. and 10:07 a.m. A stop at Lafayette Street and Everett Paine Boulevard at 10:50 a.m. resulted in a citation and a report. At 7:01 p.m., a stop on Maple Street also led to two citations being issued and a report being filed.
Property Checks
Officers conducted additional property checks at Ocean Avenue at 9:05 p.m., Lighthouse Lane at 10:43 p.m. and again at 10:48 p.m., ensuring all locations were secure or appropriately noted.
Utilities
At 8:17 p.m., a report was made concerning a utility issue at Gerald Road and Atlantic Avenue. Officers responded and provided assistance as needed.
Saturday, Aug. 16
Assault
At 7:07 p.m., officers responded to a reported assault on Front Street. After investigation, a report was taken for further review.
Complaints
Just after midnight, officers were dispatched to Front Street for a general complaint. They returned again at 1:13 a.m. for another complaint at the same location. Around 11:02 a.m., another complaint came in near Humphrey Street and Pleasant Street, and later in the afternoon at 3:10 p.m., officers investigated a general complaint on West Shore Drive. A final complaint of the day occurred at 5:04 p.m. at Lafayette and Maple streets, where services were rendered.
Disturbances
A disturbance at 8:53 a.m. on Ocean Avenue drew both police and fire response. At 10:27 p.m., police responded to a disturbance initially reported at Sheldon and Elizabeth roads, though the location was later updated to Thompson Road. Multiple units responded to the scene, and the issue was resolved without escalation.
False Alarm
At 11:21 a.m., an ADT alarm was activated at a residence on Jersey Street. Officers responded and confirmed it was a false alarm.
Found/Lost Property
Items were reported found or lost throughout the day on Sewall Street at 11:39 a.m., Foster Street at 12:50 p.m., and Washington Street at 1:20 p.m. In each case, police rendered services to assist with recovery or documentation.
Motor Vehicles
A traffic stop on Front Street near Darling Street at 12:29 a.m. led to the vehicle being towed. A citation was issued. At 10:23 a.m., a verbal warning was issued after a stop on Village Street. Another verbal warning followed a stop near Humphrey and Shetland roads at 11:24 a.m. Shortly after, another stop at Pleasant Street resulted in a verbal warning at 11:42 a.m. A fourth warning was issued at 12:26 p.m. near Pleasant and Lafayette streets. At 2:44 p.m., officers responded to a motor vehicle crash on Washington Street, and a report was filed. Just nine minutes later, a disabled vehicle at Pleasant and Mohawk roads was towed. A second crash, this one near Beacon Street at 3:33 p.m., prompted a full report.
Out of Town 911 Call
At 6:02 p.m., Marblehead Police received a 911 call regarding an issue in Swampscott waters. The matter was transferred accordingly and services were rendered.
Property Checks
Routine property checks were conducted throughout the day, starting just after midnight and continuing until late evening. Locations included Lighthouse Lane, Stramski Way, Community Road, Atlantic Avenue, Humphrey Street, and more. All checks were completed without incident.
Suspicious Activity
At 6:55 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity near Sargent Road and Ocean Avenue. The area was checked, but nothing was found.

911 Calls
Two 911 hang-ups were reported — one at 10:41 a.m. on Creesy Street and another at 6:14 p.m. on Ocean Avenue. Both were determined to be accidental or resolved on site. An accidental 911 call was also logged at 8:37 p.m. on Broughton Road. Officers responded and confirmed no emergency was present.
Alarms
Officers responded to multiple burglar alarm activations throughout the day. At 6:24 a.m., a false alarm was triggered at a Westport Lane address. Later, another false alarm was reported at 4:48 p.m. on Bessom Street, followed by a third at 8:13 p.m. near Pleasant Street. All were confirmed to be false alarms with no signs of forced entry.
Assist Citizens
Police assisted several residents with non-emergency matters. At 4:42 p.m., officers were dispatched to the LifeCare Center in Lynn for a citizen assist.
