Emily Promise, President of Blakely Financial, has been named one of Forbes’ 2025 Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State.
The 2025 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors list, compiled by SHOOK Research, is based on a rigorous selection process that evaluates advisors on key factors, including client service, industry experience and best practices in wealth management. Out of 44,028 nominations, approximately 1,700 women were selected.
“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized among such an inspiring group of women in the industry,” Promise said. “At Blakely Financial, we are committed to helping our clients feel confident and empowered in their financial decisions. This recognition reinforces our dedication to personalized wealth management and our mission of guiding clients toward long-term financial success.”
Blakely Financial is an independent financial planning and investment management firm founded in 1995 on the principle of stewards ensuring the responsible development and careful management of clients’ resources. The firm has offices in High Point, North Carolina, and Marblehead, Massachusetts.
This achievement adds to Promise’s growing list of industry accolades. She was previously recognized on Forbes’ 2023 Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors and 2024 Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisors Best-in-State lists. Blakely Financial has also been honored as one of Forbes’ 2025 Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams.
At just 27, the Marblehead High School graduate said she was “pretty surprised” when she learned that Forbes had named her one of the Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State.
“This industry is very male-dominated, and your typical advisor is a 60-year-old man, so being a female in this field and being younger, it was a pretty big surprise — but it also speaks to the work that we do for our clients, not only me but the team that I built, too,” Promise said.
“Our turnover rate for clients is next to nothing, and I truly believe that it’s the value we provide. We’re not just an investment management service. These clients become part of our families. It’s kind of rewarding. It shows that you can do good for people and still do well.”
