Three great events coming up this week at the Marblehead Arts Association!
Starting Wednesday, Oct. 15 and Thursday, Oct. 16 – “Realistic Watercolor Painting Classes” with Todd Zalewski. 6-week class with Beginners on Wednesday and Intermediate/Advanced on Thursday mornings, 9am-12pm. Enjoy learning from award-winning MAA Artist Member Todd, about the techniques and joys of realistic watercolor painting. Class minimum age: 18+
Thursday, Oct. 16 – Jazz at the Arts – The Matt Savage Quartet. The Marblehead Arts Association and Gene Arnould present a very special performance by the talented pianist and musicians, the Matt Savage Quartet as a part of our Jazz at the Arts concert series.
Saturday, Oct. 18 – “Understanding the Gold Market Today.” Join GIA Graduate Gemologist Graham Henderson of Marblehead Custom Jewelry to learn about the gold market and the complexities of gold as a commodity and artistic material. Q&A session will follow and optional visit to the store.
Sunday, Oct. 19 – Judy Schmid and David Rabkin Artist Talk: “Our Lives, Work, and Inspiration.” Join Judy Schmid and David Rabkin in conversation as they explore with you how they became the artists they are today, why they do what they do, and how they do it. Learn similarities and differences between the two artists to enrich your experience, stimulate your questions and develop new insights about art and artists.
