The Abbot Public Library will be hosting a moving and grooving interactive program for preschool children ages 0-5 with music being the prime focus.
CFCE of the North Shore is the sponsor
of the event to ignite all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional behavior, and language in overall literacy.
According to the CFCE of the North Shore, music “helps the body and mind work together. Music also helps with fine motor skills. Children who are exposed to music during early development are helped to learn the sounds and meanings of words.”
The event will be held at the Abbot Public Library on 3 Brook Road on Dec. 12, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
