The friends of the Marblehead Public Schools opened applications for grants

Friends of the Marblehead Public Schools (friendsmps) opened applications for 2023-2024 grants. The applications are accepted from Dec. 15 through Feb. 28, 2023, at 6 p.m.

“No one knows what our kids need better than our teachers and leaders in our shared community. We are thrilled to open the Grants season for the 2023-2024 academic year,” friendsmps wrote.

The mission of Friends of the Marblehead Public Schools, Inc. is to create an independent, community-based corporation to enhance the quality of education in the public schools of Marblehead. It is a supplement to the town’s support and existing school programs.

They have raised more than $2 million and in their 30 years serving in Marblehead. More than 15,000 children have been impacted.

Friends of the Marblehead Public Schools is a nonprofit, independent, community-based organization that raises money to enhance the quality of education in all Marblehead public schools, including Marblehead Charter Community Public Schools, in grades K-12.
