In honor of national poetry month, the Marblehead Museum will feature local students who are involved in poetry on April 24. During the event, those in attendance will hear students reading their favorite poems. Conversations will also be held on why poetry is important, especially those who have gone unheard, and how it can help others express themselves and make sense of the world. On Wednesday, April 26, the Marblehead Yacht Club will hold “Getting the Most out of Your Sails,” a session where attendees will receive tips on how to gain better sail trim for cruising and racing boats. The event will help all kinds of sailors learn tricks to get their boats to sail better.
